Breaststroke kicks; arms sideward the body
ADDITIONAL EXERCISE for kicks when we have troubles with extending arms infront. We perform the exercise with the face underwater and holding breath because of the better body position on the surface. When we feel the need to inhale, we rise the head, inhale and immerse the face underwater. During the performance we focus on:
  • knees so that they are narrower than the feet at the kick out,
  • properly wide kick out
  • extended arms and body position,
  • fixed head position on the surface in the body extension,
  • bringing the feet up,
  • symmetrical leg movement,
  • not bending the knees under body too much,
  • long gliding with extended legs and that heels are together after finishing the kick.
