ADDITIONAL EXERCISE for kicks coordinated with breathing, when we have troubles with extending arms infront. During the performance we focus on:
- lifting the head to inhale on time,
- breathing through mouth with focus on forceful exhale in the water
and
- extended arms during the stroke,
- symmetrical arm movement,
- acceleration of the stroke,
- finishing the stroke in front of the line of the shoulders,
- bringing arms back with less head-on resistance,
- long gliding with arms after bringing arms back.
To lenghthen the gliding we can count the kicks. We try to swim a distance with less kicks. |
