Semi catch up strokes with a pull buoy, breathing

ADDITIONAL EXERCISE for arm movement coordinated with breathing, when we have troubles with leg and arm movement coordination. During the performance we focus on:

  • turning the head without raising it up,
  • breathing through mouth with focus on forceful exhale in the water

                                           and

  • extended body position on the surface,
  • extended position of the gliding arm on the surface without diving during the inhale,
  • hand entry in the line of the shoulder,
  • extended arms during the stroke,
  • acceleration of the stroke.
