ADDITIONAL EXERCISE for strokes when we have troubles with the correct arm bending. During the performance we focus on:
- hand entry in the line of the shoulder by the same side,
- start of the stroke with extended arm (holding the pool lane),
- correct arm bending during the stroke (pulling the pool lane),
- finishing the stroke with extended arm (pushing off from the pool lane),
- acceleration of the stroke,
- correct body twisting where we move shoulders back and forth coordinated with the stroke,
- extended arm when approaching the surface
and
- fixed head position on the surface in the body extension,
- relaxed, continuous kicking.
