ADDITIONAL EXERCISE for school backstroke dive when we have troubles with swimming to the surface with butterfly kicks. During the performance we focus on:
- start position with bend arms and toes in the water,
- simultaneous swing with both arms and head tilted backwards,
- push off backwards at the end of the swing,
- head bended backwards during the flight,
- gliding long enough with extended body position and head fixed in between the extended arms,
- gliding underwater where we control the depth with head and arm position,
- backstroke kicks to get to the surface on time.
