ADDITIONAL PRACTICE for school dive when we have troubles with coordinating the swing and the push off. During the performance we focus on:
- start position with spreaded legs, feet in the width of hips, toes clinging the edge, forward bend and appropriately bended knees,
- simultaneous swing with extended arms and head and push off,
- flight and transition into the water with extended body position and head fixed in between the extended arms,
- gliding deep enough
and
- long first gliding with arms in front,
- appropriately wide stroke with out and down movement,
- eccelerating the stroke,
- long second gliding with arms by the body,
- simultaneous body extension with returning arms and kick,gliding underwater where we control the depth with head position,
- the start of the swimming to the surface on time.
