During the performance we focus on:
- touching the edge with both arms in the beginning of the turn,
- quick transition of the extended arm and head above the surface during the turn
and
- long first gliding with extended arms infront of the body,
- properly wide underwater stroke,
- accelerating the stroke,
- long second gliding with arms by the body,
- extending the body at the same time as the arms are returning and as we do the kick,
- controling the depth with head movement,
- the start of swimming on time.
We exercise turns alternately on right and left side so once the left arm is above the surface and next time the right one. |
