EXTRA EXERCISE for strokes and getting the feeling for more effective movement. During the performance we focus on:
- hand entry in the line of the shoulder by the same side,
- scooping the water (start of the stroke) with extended arm,
- correct arm bending during the stroke,
- finishing the stroke with forearm movement back to the body,
- acceleration of the stroke,
- correct body twisting where we move shoulders back and forth coordinated with the stroke,
- extended arm when approaching the surface,
- extended position of the stationary arm
and
- fixed head position on the surface in the body extension,
- higher frequency of the kicks.
