Crawl: flicking the water

ADDITIONAL EXERCISE for coordination when we have troubles with acceleration and finishing the stroke. During the performance we focus on:

  • acceleration and finishing the stroke with extended arm so that we flick the water out

                                            and

  • relaxed, continuous kicking,
  • hand entry in the line of the shoulder by the same side,
  • correct arm bending during the stroke,
  • finish of the stroke with extended arm,
  • 90° angle between the arms,
  • inhaling under bent arm when needed.
