Shallow water: standing; half forward bend; one arm strokes, breathing

ADDITIONAL EXERCISE for arm movement coordinated with breathing, when we have troubles with body position on the surface. During the performance we focus on:

  • turning the head without raising it up,
  • breathing through mouth with focus on forceful exhale in the water

                                           and

  • extended position of the stationary arm on the surface without diving during the inhale,
  • hand entry in the line of the shoulder,
  • extended arm during the stroke,
  • acceleration of the stroke.
