Starting block: basic head first dive and continue with the front crawl

During the performance we focus on:

  • our toes over the edge,
  • start position where we firm the head between extended arms,
  • bending body forward,
  • eccentric push off at the end of falling,
  • flight and transition into the water with extended body position and head fixed in between the extended arms,
  • gliding underwater where we control the depth with tilting the arms and hands,
  • crawl kicks to get to the surface,
  • the start of the swimming on time.
