Edge of the pool: basic head first dive from stride position with hitting the kickboard

ADDITIONAL EXERCISE for head first jump when we have troubles with eccentric push off. During the performance we focus on:

  • our toes over the edge,
  • start position where we firm the head between extended arms,
  • bending body forward,
  • eccentric push off with one leg at the end of falling,
  • flight and transition into the water with extended body position and head fixed in between the extended arms.
