Towards the wall: backstroke with earlier longitudinal rotation; backstroke open turn

ADDITIONAL EXERCISE for backstroke turns when we have troubles with correct turning on time. During the performance we focus on:

  • touching the edge with both arms in the beginning of the turn,
  • quick leg transition and immersion during the turn,
  • gliding, where we balance the depth with leaning arms and palms,
  • swimming out on the surface with kicks,
  • the start of swimming on time.
