Breatstroke; 1 stroke + 1 kick with longer glide

During the performance we focus on:

  • long gliding in extended body position after the kicks, strokes and cycle

                                           and

  • extended body position,
  • bringing the feet up,
  • symmetrical leg movement,
  • not bending the knees too much,
  • extended arms during the stroke,
  • symmetrical arm movement,
  • acceleration of the stroke,
  • bringing arms back with less  head-on resistance,
  • long gliding with arms after bringing arms back,
  • lifting the head to inhale on time,
  • breathing through mouth with focus on forceful exhale in the water.
