Strokes with a pull buoy, breathing

During the performance we focus on:

  • lifting the head to inhale on time,
  • breathing through mouth with focus on forceful exhale in the water

                                           and

  • extended arms during the stroke,
  • symmetrical arm movement,
  • acceleration of the stroke,
  • finishing the stroke in front of the line of the shoulders,
  • bringing arms back with less  head-on resistance,
  • long gliding with arms after bringing arms back.

To lenghthen the gliding we can count the strokes. We try to swim a distance with less strokes.
