Crawl; inhaling every fourth stroke

ADDITIONAL EXERCISE for whole crawl coordination, when we have troubles with breathing. During the perfromance we focus on:

  • 90° angle between the arms

                                           and

  • extended body position on the surface,
  • feet we need to extend and turn inwards,
  • leg extension in knees when finishing the kick,
  • appropriate amplitude and frequency of the kicks,
  • appropriate depth of the kicks, so we make bubbles with feet,
  • extended position of the stationary arm on the surface without diving during the inhale,
  • extended arms during the stroke,
  • acceleration of the stroke,
  • turning the head without raising it up,
  • breathing through mouth with focus on forceful exhale in the water.
