Towards the pool edge: flutter kicks with arms extended forward; breaststroke turn touching the edge with both hands

ADDITIONAL EXERCISE for turn. During the performance we focus on:

  • touching the edge with both arms in the beginning of the turn,
  • quick transition of the extended arm and head above the surface during the turn,
  • gliding, where we balance the depth with leaning arms and palms,
  • the start of swimming on time.

 

We exercise turns alternately on right and left side so once the left arm is above the surface and next time the right one.
