Dry land, by the wall: standing; one arm strokes; the other is sideward the body

During the performance we focus on:

  • hand entry in the line of the shoulder by the same side,
  • start of the stroke with extended arm (with palms to the wall),
  • correct arm bending during the stroke (with elbow across the wall),
  • finishing the stroke with forearm movement back to the body (by clapping the wall),
  • acceleration of the stroke,
  • correct body twisting where we move shoulders back and forth coordinated with the stroke,
  • extended arm when approaching the surface

                                            and

  • fixed head position on the surface in the body extension.
